#Day 2 (29 Jul): Was supposed to start with a fast but ended up...
I really wanted to start my healthy life journey. But...
Hi all,
First of all, I am sorry to be starting this late. Rather than giving you excuses for last week I am going to give consistency in the upcoming ones.
What I ate:
Nothing healthy unfortunately. I was supposed to start my with my fasting but could not. I have been travelling and not sleeping very well and that could have led me to make unhealthy food choices.
I ate-
Morning:
a. 3 fried fritters- 600 Kcal
b. 4 sweets - 800 Kcal
Evening
a. 2 fried fritters- 400 Kcal
b. 2 sweets - 400 Kcal
Snacks:
a. Tea with milk: 2 - 200 Kcal
b. Rusk: 1 30 Kcal
Total Kcal: 2430 Kcal (Should have been a lot less with a lot more nutrition)
Nutrition:
I am not even going to insult nutrition by mentioning it here for the above mentioned food items. Because let’s face it- it was a disaster.
Lessons:
Meal Prep
Plan a day ahead
Have healthy options
Delete home delivery services
Sleep deprivation is bound to make you crave. Please sleep!
Solutions:
Detox for the next 3 days
Day 1: Fruits
Day 2: Fruits/Vegetable Juices
Day 3: Lemon honey water
Exercise
I have started feeling the need to exercise as a 30 year old. So I am incorporating some or the other form of exercise starting tomorrow.
Goal is for a 20 minute session for tomorrow for detox.
Stay motivated! (This is more for me than any of you at the moment.)
Let’s get healthy together!
See you tomorrow!

I am so sorry to hear about your autoimmune disorder. There are people in my family struggling with it and I can honestly empathise. Home cooked meals have been really the key to breaking flare-ups, for people I know. See if that helps. But knowing you are not the only one struggling to be on track is also a gentle help from the universe. Let us try to live our lives the healthiest way possible. Yesterday was a jolt that I needed to really commit and I am going to do my hundred percent starting now. Feel free to follow along :) and share if that's what you need :)
I have been doing an anti-inflammatory diet for my autoimmune disorder (Hashimoto's) and some days it is SO hard to stay on it even though I feel horrible when I don't. Thank you for sharing this part of your journey!
